Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
calivue is built around a single principle: your calculator inputs stay on your device. This policy explains what that means in practice — and, just as importantly, what it does not cover.
Being precise about this matters more than sounding reassuring. Your weight, measurements, goals and training inputs are computed in your browser and are never sent to us. That is a property of how the site is built, and it does not change. It is not the same as saying no data of any kind is ever collected about your visit: this site is funded by ads, ads are not switched on yet, and when they are, Google will collect data under the consent you give. See Cookies for exactly what that involves.
What we collect: nothing personal
calivue's tools run entirely in your web browser. The information you enter — such as your weight, body measurements, age, and goals — is processed locally on your deviceto produce your results. We do not send it to any server, we do not have an account system, and we have no database of users. We cannot see your inputs or your results.
What's saved, and where
Some tools let you save data (for example, your weigh-in history in the Progress Tracker). That data is stored only in your browser's local storage on the device you used. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser's site data deletes it. You are always in control: you can export a copy or delete it at any time from your browser.
Cookies and analytics
calivue currently sets no advertising cookies and uses no analytics that identify you — you can confirm that yourself in your browser's developer tools. This site is funded by ads, so that will change: when ads are switched on, Google and its partners may set cookies, and in the EEA, UK and Switzerland that happens only behind a consent prompt. OurCookies page sets out the categories involved and how to change your choices.
Hosting
Our site is delivered by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which — like any web host — processes basic technical request information (such as your IP address) to deliver the site securely and guard against abuse. This is standard infrastructure logging and is not used by us to identify or profile you.
Advertising
calivue does not currently display ads, and no ad code is served — that is verifiable from the page source. The site is intended to be ad-funded, and when ads are enabled the advertising partner will be Google (AdSense). At that point Google may set cookies and process data such as your IP address and browsing activity to select and measure ads. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland this runs behind a certified consent prompt, and consent is denied by default until you choose. We will update this page and its date before that happens, not after. SeeCookies and Terms.
Children
calivue is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children.
Your choices
We hold no account and no database of users, so there is nothing on our side for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You control everything locally: clear your browser's site data to remove anything saved, and use a tool's export feature to keep your own backup. If ads are switched on in future, the choices you make in the consent prompt are handled by Google and can be changed at any time — see Cookies.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example, if we introduce analytics or advertising — we will update this page and its "last updated" date before those changes take effect.
